At 42, I has always been the bridesmaid, never the bride. I always knew I would not be alone forever but firmly believed that the man made for me must not be ready, or I had something else to learn, and he would come when the time was right. One of my best friends would say "I'd love to fix you up but don't know anyone worthy", or close family friends would say "you're the type of person that when it happens, it's going to happen fast", and boy were they right.

I ended up meeting my husband, through a mutual friend, and he was not only worthy but head and shoulders above everything I always knew I wanted. We met for the first time, had our first real date, and I had the ring all in a matter of about 9 1/2 weeks! Which, coincidentally, is also one of my all time favorite movies! I always knew I didn't want the traditional big wedding, and being that this was his second marriage, thought a destination wedding would be perfect. However, I had close family to think about and not having my grandmother there for the big day was not an option, so we opted for a destination not too far...Vegas here we come!

Since this was my opportunity to shine like never before, I thought the occasion and destination called for a "red carpet style" dress, with a wedding gown feel. I had certain ideas in my head but went into the bridal salon with an open mind and an hour later the deal was done! The dress, which was made for me in more ways than one, fit like a glove the moment it arrived! People were amazed that no alterations were needed. Being that I had never been married before, everyone's reaction was somewhat of a surprise to me, but apparently it must be a very, very, uncommon occurrence, which speaks volumes to the designers if you ask me. The style, detail, and overall feel of the gown was just spectacular! Just like my husband, everything I always dreamed and more. In addition, the dress was made in record time! Another great testimony to Impression Bridal. I can't thank you enough for providing the perfect dress, for the perfect day to wed my perfect partner!
